To be held in Prague, Czech Republic from 1 to 2 February 2018, this new masterclass is an intensive and interactive program dedicated to Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer (NMIBC).
It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the 1st ESU-ESOU Masterclass on Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer (NMIBC). This inaugural masterclass is organised by the European School of Urology (ESU) to offer you the latest approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of NMIBC.
As you know, bladder cancer is one of the most prevalent malignancies in the world. Treatment results in NMIBC are discriminated because of the high-recurrence and progression rates. Fortunately, we are witnessing the emergence of modern methods which brings new hope for the future. Hence, the inception of the ESU’s NMIBC masterclass.
You can expect individual sessions that will cover all aspects of disease management. There will be deliberation on the current opinion on tumour classification, on cooperation between urologist and pathologist, on patients´ stratification, and on various diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
The masterclass will focus on modern techniques of transurethral surgery from en-bloc resection, new imaging technologies (e.g. photodynamic diagnosis, Narrow Band Imaging or Storz professional imaging enhancement system), to new generation equipment.
Coupled with educational semi-live and live surgeries, this masterclass aims and guarantees optimal learning through all facets applicable. Moreover, you will have ample opportunities to discuss with top experts on this topic. These and more that await you!
